FAQ

These are some of the questions I’m often asked about my work and how coaching with me unfolds. If you’re curious and don’t see your question here, you’re always welcome to reach out.

What is the difference between Coaching and Therapy?

Coaching is client-led and future-focused. It is a collaborative process designed to help you gain clarity, build awareness, and move forward with intention.

Coaching is not therapy, counselling, or crisis intervention. We are not there to unravel an active crisis or diagnose mental health conditions. Instead, we work together to unpack patterns, beliefs, and experiences in a way that resonates, integrates, and sticks — supporting meaningful change over time.

Who tends to benefit most from this work?

This work is well suited for people who are ready for growth and change, and who want direction, structure, and support as they move forward.

Clients who benefit most are those who are willing to reflect honestly, engage between sessions, and take responsibility for their own growth.

This work may not be the right fit for those seeking a quick fix, passive support, or crisis-based intervention.

What level of commitment does coaching require?

This is not a one-hour-a-week commitment. Meaningful change requires ongoing reflection, honesty, and engagement in daily life.

Coaching works best when clients are willing to notice patterns, practice awareness between sessions, and actively participate in the process.

Why do you work in packages instead of single sessions?

Change is a process. One session may offer insight, but it rarely allows time to explore root patterns, integrate awareness, and apply change in a way that lasts.

Working in packages provides the continuity and depth needed to move beyond surface-level insight and into embodied, sustainable growth.

What kind of support is available between sessions?

Clients are welcome to reach out between sessions as reflections arise. I endeavor to respond to emails thoughtfully and within professional boundaries.

The primary work, however, takes place within our scheduled sessions, allowing for depth, presence, and clarity.

How do you handle confidentiality and privacy?

Confidentiality and privacy are foundational to this work. All client information and conversations are treated with respect and discretion, in accordance with professional and ethical standards.

Further details are outlined in the policies and guidelines provided in the Welcome Package.

What happens if sessions are missed or not used within the package timeframe?

Coaching packages have a defined timeframe to support momentum and consistency.

Life happens, and individual circumstances can be discussed as they arise. Clear expectations around scheduling, expiry, and boundaries are outlined in the Welcome Package.

What is the Rooted Access Program?

The Rooted Access Program is a limited, application-based offering for individuals who are deeply committed to their growth but currently navigating financial barriers.

It provides access to a six-session coaching package at a significantly reduced rate, while still requiring a contribution to support commitment and engagement.

Details about availability and the application process can be requested by email.

I feel drawn to this work but nervous about starting. Is that normal?

Yes. Feeling nervous often means something meaningful is stirring.

Curiosity, hesitation, and excitement can coexist. The fact that you feel drawn to this work already says something about your readiness to engage with yourself more deeply.

The connection call is a supportive space to explore that feeling and see if this work is the right fit.

What do you wish people knew before beginning this kind of work?

That it can be profoundly life-changing.

This work creates space to understand yourself more clearly, relate differently to your experiences, and live with greater authenticity and freedom than you may have thought possible.
